Bill Papariella, President
Bill is a seasoned senior executive within the Aviation Industry. Before co-founding Jet Edge International, he spent the previous six years within the private aviation industry working at NetJets, Marquis Jet, and Sentient. As Senior Vice President at NetJets, Marquis Jet and Sentient, Bill was responsible for advising and educating individuals as well as corporate clients on a variety of private aviation solutions including fractional ownership, jet card membership, charter and whole aircraft management. During his tenure in the private aviation industry, Bill’s efforts have consistently propelled his sales teams to #1 in total new business year over year. Bill is a native of Pittsburgh, PA and was educated at Ohio University.
David Erich, Chief Operating Officer
David is an experienced senior executive with comprehensive management experience in international and domestic cross-functional organizations. He has spent most of his career in the commercial aviation industry with British Airways working in the USA, Great Britain, and France. He is an accomplished leader with a proven track record of stimulating growth in sales and marketing, and implementing large change initiatives in operations and customer service. David is a native of St. Louis, MO and has a BSBA from the University of Tulsa.
Jim Hansen, Executive Vice President & Founder
Bringing 38 years of combined aircraft maintenance and management experience to the table, Jim Hansen’s reputation in aviation is well-deserved. At the helm of the world’s largest Gulfstream only MRO - Western Jet Aviation - Jim has never lost sight of the ideology that has built his successful business. He brings his traditional principles of honesty, integrity, and fair pricing to every business enterprise, and understands that customer trust is at the core of all successful ventures.
Lynn Sloan, Director of Operations
Lynn brings to Jet Edge over 34 years of Corporate Aviation experience. He has held the Director of Safety, Chief Pilot and Director of Training positions for Part 135 companies, amassing an extensive knowledge of the FAR’s and the requirements of the FAA. As a Chief Pilot for over 25 years, he has hired and trained hundreds of pilots in the Part 135 rules. Mr. Sloan has over 11000 accident and incident free flight hours in King Air, Lear Jet and Sabreliner aircraft. With his background, Lynn is well equipped to ensure our pilots are the best and the customer is in the safest of hands.
Geoff Makely, Senior Vice President of Charter Management
Geoff Makely directly oversees the company's worldwide charter business and manages the company’s charter sales and dispatch teams. In addition, Mr. Makely plays an integral role in all aspects of the companies' aircraft management goals. Mr. Makely's previous 20 years in aviation include serving as a Director of Flight Control as well as executive charter sales positions. Mr. Makely has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from Florida Institute of Technology and has earned a reputation for his integrity, understanding clients' needs, providing sound management, and fostering long lasting professional relationships.
Jim Potter, Chief Pilot
Jim brings to Jet Edge of 30 years of global Gulfstream Series operating experience. Jim has accumulated over 24,000 hours of flight time, with 16,000+ of those hours in Gulfstream Aircraft and is currently FAA certified Check Airman for Jet Edge. His expertise is remembering the operating idiosyncrasies of each aircraft and training flight crews to achieve the highest level of safety and cockpit standards.
Evan McKeirnan, Director of Maintenance
Evan brings over 12 years of corporate aircraft maintenance and management to Jet Edge. Along with his A&P, IA, and Limited Radio / Limited Instrument Repairman, Evan’s Private Pilot certificate allows him to fully understand all of the aircraft’s systems and interworkings. From managing special projects, developing FAA manuals, and representation during FAA inspections and conformities, Evan has built an extensive knowledge of the FAR’s. He has traveled the world in support of company aircraft and acquired a multi-facetted knowledge of the business.
