Management Philosophy:
Jet Edge is a diverse, multi-faceted management company, with skill-sets in all areas of aircraft management, including aircraft sales and acquisition, to the ongoing daily oversight of Part 135 and Part 91 corporate aircraft.
Our perspective on aircraft management is owner-driven, always working transactions from an owner’s perspective. This management angle creates a win-win scenario for all involved – owner, customer, and operator. Recognizing that aircraft management has many layers, our team approach attacks each detail with razor sharp personnel, each member skilled and practiced in their own expertise. Our sales and marketing staff are constantly focused on driving business to your aircraft, utilizing the most effective contacts in the industry, while our operations and dispatch workforce concentrate on seamlessly running your trips.
This detailed approach allows for point-on focus, which in turn creates high charter volume and sales. This strategy reaps increased buying power within our industry, from hedging fuel costs, to heavy discounts on pilot training, insurance, and aircraft purchasing. Our management structure makes sense, reducing operating costs on all levels, translating into savings and higher margins for aircraft owners. Steeped in honesty and fair practices, you – the owner – will pay no hidden management fees or be party to complex contracts or legal jargon. Our relationship with our owners is paramount, and our transparent management style reflects this value at every turn.
Management Structure:
Tier 1: High Charter Volume Mixed with Minimal Owner Use:
Structuring your aircraft as a business asset allows for maximum return on your investment capital – your Gulfstream. Gross returns in excess of $11,000,000 per year are not unheard of in this type of management configuration. With owner usage at a bare minimum, the aircraft is allowed to reach its maximum charter potential, taking advantage of every revenue trip that comes its way. If you are in the market for high returns, and your flight time is nominal, this option is for you.
Tier 2: Charter Mixed with Owner Use:
A standard industry option, allowing the aircraft owner to offset ownership costs by permitting their aircraft to be used for charter revenue when it is not personally being utilized. The owner’s utilization is taken into account, along with their revenue goals, to glean a comprehensive plan, balancing private use with charter opportunities.
Tier 3: Owner Use Only (FAR Part 91 Only):
Keeping aircraft ownership enjoyable, this option is perfect for owners who do not wish to charter their aircraft, but would still like industry experts to handle the numerous issues surrounding aircraft ownership, from maintenance to fuel purchasing and fight planning. This arrangement is ideal for owners who have an aircraft whose direct operating costs run parallel to the charter market.
Tier 4: Maintenance Management (FAR Part 91 Only):
For those who do not wish to be solely responsible for maintenance scheduling, tracking, and parts procurement, this option is for you. Utilizing the Largest Independent Gulfstream Specific MRO in the world - Western Jet - has experienced mechanics, inspectors, and quality control experts to assist in the ongoing maintenance process. Maintenance planning, implementation, and tracking will be supervised, leaving aircraft safety in the hands of professionals.
